Medical-Legal Reports and Testimony

Raising the Bar in the Medical Legal Community through Consultation with Attorneys, Insurance Professionals and Medical Experts

Data. Education. Analysis. Research.

Good Mood Legal was founded by Dr. Ronald C. Heredia with the mission of raising the bar in the medical-legal community by providing written-analysis exposing major flaws in psych reports and giving attorneys a script of direct questions to use in cross-examining psych doctors. The mission also includes consulting with doctors to provide support for a successful medical-legal practice.

The Consultation Report

The reports we prepare are clearly-written findings based on peer-reviewed published scientific data that describes all of the substantial flaws in a psych report using non-technical language and discusses specific techniques and strategy for cross-examining the doctor. These reports also provide a script of simple and direct questions to ask the doctor that will reveal the major flaws in their report. In situations when cross-examination will not take place, the reports we prepare include information needed to prepare a brief for the court and or a petition for the judge.

Dr. Ron Heredia is easily the most helpful and knowledgeable expert I have had the opportunity to work with. He prepared an (extensive) expert witness report to assist with rebutting a psychiatric medical-legal report and provided so many helpful questions to be asked in a cross examination of the doctor... along with providing the exhibits to reference in cross examination. When I had a question he responded to me with a phone call in minutes. Dr. Heredia agreed to be called as a witness at trial should that be necessary.
I have also been present at one of his presentations which I found to be very helpful. I cannot recommend him enough!
